Description: Montana is a very shy 5 year old girl with a heart of gold. She came to us from a kennel no longer breeding bassets. Montana needs time learning that the world is a safe place and new people are fun. Her foster family is working to get her more socialization. She loves to play with other bassets. She has such a sweet nature that she will blossom in to such a fun companion if given the chance. She is curious about new things & willing to learn. But she needs allot of patience & understanding. Montana is more comfortable with women than men. She will need allot of time spent with her to help with her fear issues. She has come along way since she came into DBHR, but she will need a calm, stable, & very patience person working with her to give her the confidence to be a wonderful companion.
